1st shift position in New Berlin, WI.

About the role

This role involves die maintenance, die setting, grinding, polishing, repair, and general tool room repair for stamping and punch press dies. The shop supervisor will train a mechanically inclined individual in CNC and manual machining.

Responsibilities

• Grinding dies and precision grinding
• CNC machining
• Manual lathe and milling work
• Die maintenance and mechanical assembly
• Using a variety of hand and power tools, machine tools, tool and die equipment
• Material handling (e.g., forklifts)

Requirements

• Mechanical ability and willingness to learn a trade
• OR experience with CNC or manual machining, grinding, or polishing
• No prior experience required; training will be provided

Pay

$20–$24/hour
