Tool & Die Maker / Machinist - 1st Shift

Essential Functions

• Analyze specifications, set up and operate machine tools to manufacture parts
• Fabricate and/or repair various types of dies
• Assemble parts into product and verify dimensions, alignments and clearances

Skills & Abilities

• Able to use and understand all required tools and precision measuring instruments
• Understands basic math concepts
• Able to read and understand prints, bills of material, setup sheets, etc., and follow oral and written instructions
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Organization and planning skills
• Ability to work well with others

Education & Training

• Prefer successful completion of related course work at a trade or technical school

Other Requirements

• Strong manufacturing experience
• Observes safety and security procedures by using equipment and materials properly
• Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent
• Takes responsibility for own actions
• Completes tasks on time
