Tool Crib Attendant

About the role

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for the documentation, control, fill‑levels and organization of the Tool Crib.

Responsibilities

• Generates purchase requisitions for all equipment spare parts and MRP supplies.
• Sets‑up new spare parts in SAP system and establishes stock locations.
• Maintains spare part “sign‑out” register to identify inventory that has been issued.
• Establishes minimum and maximum inventory levels to achieve budgeted targets.
• Unloads and stocks all deliveries and completes receiving procedures.
• Maintains organization, orderliness and cleanliness of the stock areas in all crib locations.
• Returns all incorrect deliveries and tool/part repairs.
• Adjusts inventory levels in SAP system.
• Audits and expedites overdue or hot parts as required.
• Identifies local sourcing of hard‑to‑get or expensive repair parts.
• Compiles usage reports to identify high or unusual part issues.
• Loads all equipment into SAP system.
• Manages all equipment PMs by loading them into SAP system.
• Establishes and maintains complete history files of all equipment.
• Tags all spare parts with stock item number to assist maintenance technicians with identification.
• Applies asset numbers to machinery and equipment.
• Receives all non‑inventory MRO items and service.
• Performs other typical clerical duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
• Overtime is a requirement for the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Good attendance record.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Problem solving skills.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience a plus.

Pay

Hourly: $23.68
