Job Summary

The Tool and Equipment Manager will own tool inventory, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse support for Loenbro’s South Region. This includes tracking inventory of tools and equipment on prefab sites, construction sites, and in storage. This hands-on role ensures crews and prefabrication teams have the right, safe, and calibrated tools when and where they need them to keep projects on schedule and compliant with quality standards. This role will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of Tool and Equipment Coordinators on various different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of hand tools, powered tools, test equipment, and specialty fabrication tools; manage check-in/check-out systems and tool tracking.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration for test instruments and powered equipment; coordinate external calibration services when required.
• Source, purchase, and maintain vendor relationships for tools, parts, and consumables; manage tool budgets and track cost trends.
• Help with shipping and receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial tools and equipment.
• 3+ Years of equipment or tool inventory tracking experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Toolhound, RefTab, or other tool system program experience (preferred).
• Effective at communicating with multiple teams (preferred).
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).

Work Environment

In warehouse, on-site - typical warehouse setting and work environment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high as in a typical warehouse setting. Ability to work flexible hours. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
