Tool and Equipment Associate

JOB SUMMARY

The Tool and Equipment Associate is responsible for inspection and testing of tools and equipment that are rented to customers. This position ensures that tools being sent to projects are complete, in good working order, and safe to use.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience inspecting tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety best practices.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to read and respond to emailed inquiries from customers and/or employees.
• Safety-oriented.
• Must hold a valid and current driver's license, maintained in good standing throughout the duration of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction. Conduct jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion. Conduct jobsite walks to identify and eliminate safety hazards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job site. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud.
