Tool And Die Maker

About the role

Build, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures to support production.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair tooling using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.
• Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.
• Set up and operate all tool room equipment.
• Assist production with problem solving on tooling issues.
• Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 4 years plus proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment, along with experience on stamping dies.
• Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification a plus.
• Plant environment; working in and out of presses with tooling.
• Standing and walking up to 100% of work time.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs to include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping.
• Willing to work any and all overtime as required.
• Excellent attendance.
