About the Role

Tomah High School is seeking a creative, innovative educator who can establish positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. This full-time High School Mathematics Teacher position (Grades 9-12) begins in the 2026-27 school year. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.

Responsibilities

  • Teach mathematics courses to students in grades 9-12, including remedial courses.
  • Instruct students with special needs and work with at-risk youths.
  • Integrate technology into teaching practices.
  • Apply current methodologies in mathematics education, including knowledge of the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics.

Requirements

  • Must hold or obtain appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District prior to the first day of work.
  • Strong background in mathematics.
  • Computer experience and ability to teach using technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of WiMLSS (Wisconsin Multi-Level System of Supports).
  • Experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
  • Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) or Differentiated Instruction.
  • Experience in blended learning environments.
