About the Role
Tomah High School is seeking a creative, innovative educator who can establish positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. This full-time High School Mathematics Teacher position (Grades 9-12) begins in the 2026-27 school year. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics courses to students in grades 9-12, including remedial courses.
- Instruct students with special needs and work with at-risk youths.
- Integrate technology into teaching practices.
- Apply current methodologies in mathematics education, including knowledge of the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics.
Requirements
- Must hold or obtain appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District prior to the first day of work.
- Strong background in mathematics.
- Computer experience and ability to teach using technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of WiMLSS (Wisconsin Multi-Level System of Supports).
- Experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
- Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) or Differentiated Instruction.
- Experience in blended learning environments.
