Toledo Club Seeks Director of Squash

Position Summary

The steady growth of engagement and participation in Toledo Club squash has been built through a consistent high level of energy, enthusiasm and socially approachable competition. While the program is well established, it requires an organized, disciplined, and charismatic individual who is willing to carry-on and grow the passionate culture that has allowed Toledo Club squash to thrive over the past 100+ years. This individual will have the support of a strong squash community as well as a squash committee made up of invested members.

Skills Required

• Communication Skills and Relationship Building - Strong ability to communicate comfortably, patiently and consistently with
• Motivational Energy Fostering Growth and Engagement - Coach and develop members/juniors to improve their
• Managerial and Administrative Competence - ability to organize and manage the league schedule, season calendar, committee meeting schedules, and coordinate necessary maintenance tasks. Microsoft Office/Google Workspace proficiency is required.
• Pro-Shop Ownership - order merchandise, manage inventory, and facilitate member restrings in a timely manner.

Compensation

• Year-round salary based on experience and level of responsibility assumed
• 100% of proceeds garnered by teaching lessons
• 100% of proceeds from pro shop operations
• Among other perks standard club employee benefits include health insurance and paid vacation time

Benefits

• Broader Director of Athletics role to be considered in lieu of Director of Squash title if past experience warrants a larger role within the club
