Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests
Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant services
Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by management
Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service
Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers
Help maintain restaurant cleanliness
Follow the closing checklist to close the restaurant properly
Attend all scheduled team member meetings
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members.
Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money.
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Food Handler Certification is required.
Physical Requirements
Constant standing/walking
Occasional stooping/kneeling
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 60 pounds
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word
