The Toddy Tapper at Villa Haven will be integral to our resort’s commitment to cultural authenticity. This role involves the skilled extraction and collection of fresh coconut sap (toddy) from coconut palms within the resort.

Responsibilities

• Skilled extraction and collection of fresh coconut sap (toddy) from coconut palms within the resort.
• Engage with guests, sharing the cultural significance of this ancient practice.
• Produce high-quality toddy.
• Work as a cornerstone of Villa Haven’s unique brand identity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a toddy tapper, with proven expertise in traditional methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Deep understanding of the cultural significance of toddy tapping and a commitment to preserving this tradition.
• Excellent physical fitness and agility, with the ability to safely climb and work on tall coconut palms.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest quality product.
• Friendly, approachable, and eager to share knowledge with guests.
