About the Role
Toddler Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers (ages 18 months – 3 yrs).
Responsibilities
- Create and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 toddlers (18 - 36 months old).
- Support 8 students alongside a co-teacher.
- Document observations in Teaching Strategies Gold with Creative Curriculum.
- Qualitatively enhance language development of infants and toddlers through the use of LENA (Language Environment Analysis) technology.
- Receive support for students and families from a classroom aid and a Family Advocate.
- Communicate child routines with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
- Receive curriculum support and coaching from education coaches.
- Access program supports through a team of service area specialists including early childhood education, social services, behavioral health, disabilities, and health & nutrition.
Pay
$17–$22 hourly
