Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our team! You will be in a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills

Compensation

$15.92 - $18.00 per hour

About the Role

The Goddard School in Branchburg is seeking teacher assistants for the younger classrooms. We mix learning through play along with inquiry-based learning. This creates a fun learning environment and teaching environment for the teachers.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
