Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Working with the co-teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty

Requirements

• A high school diploma
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
• Show empathy and compassion for young children
• Be dependable, adaptable, and enjoy working collaboratively towards a common goal
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs., with additional requirements for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers (properly lifting infants into and out of cribs)

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Show empathy and compassion for young children
• Be dependable and adaptable and enjoy working together toward a common goal
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
