Toddler Assistant Teacher - Full Time

About the role

The Goddard School in Rochester, MI is seeking assistant teachers to join our team. Positions are available for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full day childcare and preschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities based on observations of children's interests
• Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop an engaging curriculum
• Communicate regularly with parents through various means such as mobile apps and personal discussions
• Observe children's development and progress, and share this information with other educators and parents
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on children's lives
