Responsibilities
- Aid in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning space
- Supervise and provide individualized support to children
- Communicate with families about their child’s progress and daily activities
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations
- Participate in daily care routines and tasks to foster a nurturing environment
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Show empathy and compassion for young children
- Work productively without supervision
- Basic understanding of child development
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Qualifications
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
