About This Role
The Earthplace Preschool is hiring a full-time assistant teacher for the toddler classroom, closing shift from 10am-6pm.
Responsibilities
- Plan with the teaching team to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Supervise children in the classroom
- Create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Help children construct their own learning through exploration, investigation, and experimentation
- Encourage language acquisition, gross motor and fine motor skills, and assist with toilet training
- Guide children in sharing, thinking about others' feelings, and forming friendships
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- ECE courses and/or 2 years of experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers
- A passion and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young children and families
- A hard-working, reliable attitude
- A positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Tadpoles application (helping to simplify childcare)

Pay & Schedule
- $17 - $20 / hour based on experience and education level
- Closing Shift Monday through Friday from 10am - 6pm
