To Go Specialist

Responsibilities

• Be an effective SALESPERSON, understanding and recommending food and beverage menus, specials, and promos.
• Ensure guests have a great experience by providing exceptional service, making each guest feel appreciated through accommodating actions.
• Practice the “Hospitality Halo” with everyone within a six-foot radius, maintaining a friendly and polite attitude.
• Work as a team with all O’Charley’s team members, communicating clearly and enthusiastically with guests and team members.
• Immediately greet guests and ensure prompt and efficient food and beverage delivery, serving guests in a timely manner according to their perfect pace.
• Stay organized, thinking and acting quickly and effectively, and having a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of service sequences and guidelines, using this knowledge to serve guests effectively.
• Have a thorough knowledge of To-Go accounting procedures.
• Have a thorough knowledge of To-Go packaging, preparing and packaging quality products for guests.
• Maintain the general appearance of the To-Go area through cleaning and stocking.
• Take pride in your personal appearance and the appearance of your work area.
• Ensure “Perfect Plate” presentations before items are delivered to guests.
• If a mistake is made, own it and take EVERY action possible to correct it, striving for a win-win situation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of guest relations, To-Go packaging, and menu knowledge.
• Service sequences, telephone etiquette, and point of sale operation.
• Quality service and standards, safety and security, and procedures.
• Cash handling, floor plan, specials, sidework duties, and physical abilities.
