To-Go Specialist

About the role

As a To-Go Specialist, you’ll play a key Front of House role, ensuring every off-premise order is prepared with the same care, accuracy, and hospitality as in-restaurant dining. Our team members receive extensive training and development, are continuously set up for success, and feel welcomed in our Firebirds family. If you’ve never worked in a restaurant before but have a passion for learning, we’ll train you to become a hospitality expert.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive hospitality with every guest interaction.
• Greet guests promptly and provide a seamless pickup experience.
• Listen carefully and communicate clearly to ensure order accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and confirm orders to ensure they meet guest expectations before pickup.
• Accurately enter orders and process payments using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked To-Go area.
• Communicate with guests by phone in a professional, friendly manner.
• Resolve order concerns quickly and involve leadership when needed.
• Ensure every guest leaves feeling appreciated and well taken care of.
• Work collaboratively with the Front of House team to support smooth service.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Patience and a guest-oriented mindset.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirement for Front of House positions.
