TMS & Spravato Treatment Specialist - Bloomfield

Our Interventional Psychiatry Support Specialists (Medical Assistant) provide exceptional direct client care using innovative technology to assist clients in overcoming depression, anxiety, and OCD. The full‑time primary role is to assist providers in the delivery of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy as well as Spravato and Ketamine services while maintaining the highest quality work standards according to practice policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer Spravato and/or TMS treatments following physician protocols, prioritizing client comfort and safety.
• Perform psychiatric rating scales, document outcomes, and report potential adverse events to the physician.
• Schedule and manage client appointments, adapting to their needs and making necessary adjustments.
• Assist with client intake, preparation, and support for various treatments, including vitals, care coordination, and insurance verification.
• Accurately record client information and session notes, completing superbill documentation promptly.
• Provide compassionate support to clients with depression and other disorders, demonstrating effective communication skills.
• Deliver excellent client care while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot client comfort and equipment setup during treatments.
• Collaborate with interventional psychiatry vendors for seamless coordination.
• Provide support and treatment coverage at all interventional service sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a recognized clinical discipline (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, rehabilitation, activity therapies, or related behavioral health field).
• One or more years of medical office, behavioral health, or outpatient clinic experience (preferred).
• Medical Assistant experience or certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and medical authorization processes (preferred).
• Completion of TMS certification during training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of and ability to comply with HIPAA, confidentiality, patient privacy, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• BCLS certification required or willingness to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
• Ability to provide coverage for treatments at nearby clinics.

Pay

The hourly compensation range for this role is $18 – $24. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market‑driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities.
