Location: Charlotte, NC Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description: We are seeking a detail‑oriented Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney licensed in South Carolina to join our expanding team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of residential real estate transactions. You will conduct title examinations, resolve title issues, prepare legal documents, and provide legal guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle. This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities Title Examination: Review title searches, analyze deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, estates, and trusts; identify and resolve defects; prepare preliminary and final title opinions.Legal Document Preparation: Draft and review deeds, powers of attorney, indemnity agreements, satisfactions/releases, affidavits of correction, estate documents, and other instruments.Operational Responsibilities: Manage a high volume of transactions; sign Final Title Opinions (FTOs); collaborate with internal teams; assist with in‑office closings as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Notary Public (or willingness to obtain before start date). Active license to practice law in South Carolina (required); North Carolina or Georgia license is a plus.Real estate law experience: 2+ years.
