Title I School Psychologist (Grades 3-5)

Systems Support

• Sustaining efforts to build a responsive system through MTSS.
• Participating in building based and district level MTSS activities.

Assessment

• Selecting appropriate assessment instruments.
• Conducting assessments appropriately.
• Interpreting assessment information accurately.
• Screening/referral/evaluation process.
• Reporting assessment data in a clear and concise manner.
• Providing classroom observations.
• Conducting screenings.

Designing Individualized Educational Programs

• Developing individualized goals and objectives based on assessment results.
• Providing long-range student planning.
• Fully participating in the IEP process.

Direct Services

• Providing consultation and training to staff and parents as needed.
• Providing training for parents and staff as needed.
• Demonstrating an understanding of individual and group counseling techniques.

Case Management

• Participating with the building Student Services Team.
• Making sure the implementation of student IEPs is managed and coordinated.
• Managing and coordinating required paperwork.

Qualifications

• A Master's level school psychologist.
• A valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsement in School Psychology (PreK-Age 21).
• Previous experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position (1.0 FTE).
• Starting August 2026 through June 2027.
• FLSA Status: Exempt.
