Essential Job Functions

Systems Support
- Sustaining efforts to build a responsive system through MTSS.
- Participating in building based and district level MTSS activities.
Assessment
- Selecting appropriate assessment instruments.
- Conducting assessments appropriately.
- Interpreting assessment information accurately.
- Screening/referral/evaluation process.
- Reporting assessment data in a clear and concise manner.
- Providing classroom observations.
- Conducting screenings.
Designing Individualized Educational Programs
- Developing individualized goals and objectives based on assessment results.
- Providing long-range student planning.
- Fully participating in the IEP process.
Direct Services
- Providing consultation and training to staff and parents as needed.
- Providing training for parents and staff as needed.
- Demonstrating an understanding of individual and group counseling techniques.
Case Management
- Participating with the building Student Services Team.
- Making sure the implementation of student IEPs is managed and coordinated.
- Managing and coordinating required paperwork.
Qualifications
- A Master's level school psychologist.
- A valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsement in School Psychology (PreK-Age 21).
- Previous experience preferred.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE).
- Starting August 2026 through June 2027.
- FLSA Status: Exempt.
