Location: North Las Vegas – Dickens, D. L. Dusty Elementary School

Position type: Day shift, 9-month assignment (6 hours per day)

About the Role

This is a para-professional support-staff position within Region One of the Clark County School District, providing instructional and classroom assistance at the elementary-school level.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instruction to students.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to reinforce learning.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up equipment as directed.
• Perform clerical duties such as taking attendance, grading assignments, and maintaining records.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times (recess, lunch, transitions).
• Assist with personal care needs of students with disabilities, if applicable.
• Participate in professional-development activities and staff meetings.
