Purpose Statement

To clarify and enhance the Line Lead’s ability to conduct daily activities, accomplish Rich Products Corp. objectives, provide customers with the best product, value, and service, and maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes quality, productivity, and a healthy workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily production schedule execution, ensuring compliance with customer and GBI specifications.
  • Maintains or exceeds manufacturing standards, yields, and efficiencies.
  • Promotes continuous improvement processes throughout the facility.
  • Ensures all required production documentation is completed according to GBI policies.
  • Trains line employees on rules, safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOP), and job expectations.
  • Resolves employee issues through the grievance process.
  • Recommends recognitions, promotions, or disciplinary actions based on employee performance.
  • Attends and completes RPC-sponsored training.
  • Ensures all good manufacturing practices are followed before and during production.
  • Verifies production stays within budgetary standards.
  • Sets up computer-controlled equipment and documents changes or issues during production.
  • Plans for employee vacations to ensure continuity and full staffing.
  • Maintains open communication channels and an open-door policy at all levels.
  • Prioritizes safety and reports unsafe acts or conditions to a superior.
  • Monitors employee performance and compliance with company rules, safety rules, GMP, and SOPs.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 3 years of food manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year as a crew leader.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to document and measure results.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others.
  • Teamwork and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to endure cold temperatures.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $25.00
