About the Role
Provides nationwide title services. Conducts title examinations for Utah real estate transactions by analyzing public records, legal documents, and property ownership history to determine title condition and insurability. Researches and resolves title issues, prepares title commitments, and supports customers and business partners throughout the closing process.
Responsibilities
- Compiles, investigates and examines public and tax records to determine liabilities and legal condition of the title and insurability of the property
- Prepares accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures
- Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
- Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
- Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
- Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
- Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
