About the role
This position is for the DDI Duplicate Title team, responsible for applying for duplicate titles on behalf of our lenders when a perfecting title document is not currently on hand with DDI, despite knowledge that the record is considered perfecting per the DMV. The team ensures all state and county-level requirements are met and paperwork is properly completed to avoid preventable DMV rejections.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with peers to manage resources and enhance work processes to meet service levels for internal and external clients.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, including safety and ergonomic training.
- Adhere to established procedures and compliance requirements for signing off, executing, and shipping documents.
- Use company proprietary software for research and data entry.
- Research, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Flexible schedule may be required, including overtime, evenings, holidays, or weekends as business needs arise.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or comparable completed educational certification.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or certification.
- Familiarity with the automotive, titling, or finance industry.
Workplace Environment
- Fast-paced, high-volume, production environment.
- Perform routine and repetitive production work.
- Sit or stand for lengthy periods of time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Ability to lift or push up to 35 lbs.
- Primary schedule will be Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime, evening, holiday, or weekend shifts.
Pay
The hourly rate range for this position is $17.00–$18.50. The final pay will be determined by factors including location, education, experience, training, and skills.
