Title Agency Manager

About the Role

Step into a pivotal role at Title Center of the South (TCOS) where you’ll run the heartbeat of a busy title and settlement operation. As the Agency Manager, you’ll oversee daily workflow, supervise and develop a high‑performing team, and partner closely with leadership to deliver accurate, on‑time commitments, policies, and closings for our clients. Experience and expertise in title insurance and administrative operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day office operations, staff meetings, and performance management against production and quality goals.
• Coordinate order intake, title searches, and closing schedules; maintain lender, client, and provider information.
• Produce and review commitments, policies, endorsements; ensure accurate data entry and complete documentation.
• Monitor settlement functions, financial controls, and service standards; act on findings from audits.
• Maintain inventory (policy jackets, forms, promotional items), accounts receivable, pending files, and required reports.
• Use appropriate rates, forms, software, and guidelines to meet production and compliance targets.
• Communicate regularly with Marketing and Operations Representatives on volume, issues, and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training/experience).
• Proficiency with SoftPro preferred; strong computer skills required.
• Experience and expertise in title insurance underwriting, settlement, and administrative operations.
