Essential Functions
- Works with students, individually or in small groups, to teach/reinforce mathematics learning concepts.
- Uses data to provide instruction to students and to bring their skills to grade-level.
- Collaborates with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students.
- Uses identified research-based interventions that focus specifically on individual student needs.
- Maintains data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress.
- Provides input for program development.
- Communicates with classroom teachers for areas of mathematics focus.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and Success.
General Expectations
- You Are Directly Accountable To The Principal.
- A Member Of The East Shore Leadership Academy Team, You Are Also Expected To Communicate And Coordinate With The School Office Personnel And Collaborate With Your Fellow Teachers.
- This position is one that demands an exceptional attendance routine, including consistently arriving early to set the tone for the day along with staying after to plan or support students.
- Adhere to all East Shore Leadership Academy employee policies as well as expectations as outlined in the handbooks.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner – demonstrating competence in your area of responsibilities and extending respect and courtesy to coworkers.
Evaluation

Work Environment
This job operates in a school environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This role requires work between 7:30am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday and additional hours as needed. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires 40 hours.
