Responsibilities

• The role supports the full tissue recovery process by preparing supplies, instruments, and the recovery environment;
• assisting with donor positioning, sterile field setup, and time-out verification;
• performing surgical scrub, gowning, gloving, and labeling preparation;
• During recovery, it anticipates surgical needs, receives and aseptically packages tissues, organs, and samples, verifies labeling accuracy, and helps reposition the donor between recovery zones;
• Postoperatively, the role breaks down sterile fields, decontaminates instruments and equipment, assists with donor reconstruction and preparation, restores the recovery environment, and helps load and transport recovered items and supplies;
• It also assists with preparing tissues and samples for shipment or storage and contributes to quality and continuous improvement activities, including KPI monitoring, audit readiness, Zone Assessments, and participation in LEAN initiatives.

Requirements

• 1 year work experience
• Valid Driver's License
