TIS SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
• Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
• Providing technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.

Requirements

• A good understanding of CID (Classification, Identification and Discrimination) used in C2 systems including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
• The ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
• The ability to work directly with the Agile software developers.
• A minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Additional plus: Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
• Must be a US citizen.
