Tire Technician Part Time $1000 Sign on Bonus!

Responsibilities

• Properly install and repair tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Dispose of tires and ensure propane tanks are filled according to club policy.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately utilize available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilize tire bay equipment.
• Aid members in selecting and purchasing tires, verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Fill propane tanks as needed, if certified per DOT requirements.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Understand and appropriately utilize available special order tire programs.
• Complete all tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills required.
• Prior tire installation experience preferred.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.50 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
