Tipper Truck Receiver Night Shift - CDL Required

Responsibilities

• Moving tankers in and out of the Fresh Chicken Dock.
• Receiving the incoming documents.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Partnering with the Fresh Chicken Receiver to unload the tanker.
• Returning the tanker after the unload to the staging area.
• Taking temperatures of the incoming tanker per the plant's standard operating procedures.
• Participating as a member of the Team.
• Participating in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coinciding work to ensure best practices with all team members.
• Attending appropriate team meetings.
• Fostering strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc.
• Identifying and addressing areas lacking cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader, and working with the team to resolve issues.
• Actively seeking ways to achieve synergy within the larger organization.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies).
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The use of a seatbelt when riding in a company vehicle.
• The ability to work in temperature extremes.
• The wearing of a safety vest and radio.
• A current CDL Class A license with 1 year of driving experience (DOT-specific).
• A valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma.
• The ability to read and write English.
• The ability to perform basic math.
