Timekeeper - Temporary

About the role

The Timekeeper will manage and oversee Legence's timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate recording of employee work hours and assisting staff with time entry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to employees regarding timekeeping.
• Monitor time submission, communicating with employees who have not submitted their time entries via email, messaging, or phone calls to ensure compliance with submission deadlines.
• Aid employees in entering their work hours into the timekeeping system, addressing any questions or issues that arise.
• Verify time records, reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all employee time entries to ensure they reflect actual hours worked and comply with company policies and labor laws.
• Prepare time reports and submit them to the payroll department at the conclusion of each pay period, ensuring all data is accurate and complete.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to function and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and solve problems.
• Ability to learn systems quickly.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with timekeeping or payroll applications; Deltek or Dayforce is preferred or experience with other cloud-based timekeeping/payroll systems (UKG, ADP, Workday).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay

$20 - $25 / hour

Overview: 401(k) Plan with Company Match: Currently match contributions dollar-for-dollar up to 4% of eligible pay; immediate vesting.
