Associate Demand and Supply Planner focused on Timberland Americas accessories. This role provides operational and analytical support in supply chain processes to ensure product availability and on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, manage, and execute purchase requisitions based on demand, forecast, and inventory plans.
- Manage end-to-end demand/forecast, including roll-up and validation of regional demand plans across multiple channels for the category.
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out product to deliver an accurate demand plan that achieves brand inventory and on-time targets.
- Contribute to monthly cross-functional demand forecast meetings with Planning, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing by analyzing historical demand and current trends to reach consensus on the final forecast.
- Recommend and execute product purchases based on demand inputs, current inventory levels, vendor capacity, minimums, and buy readiness.
- Issue purchase requisitions to Sourcing Teams and share relevant supply information with commercial, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Follow up on purchase orders, internal requests, and alert about potential delays.
- Analyze and provide input regarding supply-demand match to identify issues and opportunities.
- Partner with sales, merchandising, and global production to implement strategies that anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Drive the expedite process as necessary with Global Supply Planning and adjust supply timing to improve service or meet inventory objectives.
- Create and maintain databases to track seasonal performance, product launches, and collaborations.
- Support inventory transfers between warehouses or channels.
- Maintain updated reports on demand, supply, and future buys, and prepare summaries for weekly meetings.
- Maintain system integrity for demand and supply data.
- Provide analysis and follow-through for business improvements related to shipping, inventory, supply chain operations efficiency, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in a related role, with a focus on professional achievements.
- Strong ability to interpret large sets of data from various sources and translate them into factual-based plans.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for the business and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and formula writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Logility, and Power BI.
Pay
Hiring range: $54,800.00 USD - $68,500.00 USD annually. This position is eligible for additional compensation awards, including an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
