About the role

Join our modular apartment assembly facility in Carlton-on-Trent, NG23 6NT. You’ll tile wall and floor areas inside prefabricated apartment pods/modules — bathrooms and utility cupboards. Consistent indoor work, steady workflow, part of the wider JRL Modular build team. 6‑month contract.

Responsibilities

• Install wall and floor tiling to JRL Modular standards across each apartment pod
• Surface preparation, adhesive application, tile fixing, grouting and finishing
• Complete tiling within each pod to precise dimensions and build specifications
• Maintain quality and speed to meet daily production targets
• Keep work area tidy and follow all health and safety / factory rules
• Coordinate with joiners, plumbers, electricians and fitters on the production line

Requirements

• Proven tiling experience — essential
• Valid CIS card — mandatory
• Reliable, punctual and able to work set hours
• Own basic hand tools preferred
• Comfortable working in a team production environment
