Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and deliveries, counting pallets (must be able to count Sqft)
- Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Enter receiving data into inventory or warehouse management systems
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Cook up with purchasing, warehouse, and delivery teams regarding incoming materials
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Qualifications
- You must be able to calculate and add square footage
- Previous warehouse receiving or inventory experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
