Tier II Site Lead

Leidos’ Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Tier II Site Lead to support the customer’s computer data communications systems. This role involves providing design specifications, testing, and inspections for computer networks; planning and implementing upgrades; and analyzing and organizing combined hardware and software solutions through network modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall health and wellness of the Tier II workforce, guiding, training, and managing lower-level management and supervisors.
• Manage daily operations, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Recruit, train, and support senior leadership, conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiate contracts.
• Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards, and internal procedures are followed.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for operations and maintenance activities.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and incident reports.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements, such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
• Develop and implement solutions for network problems, including:
  • Business plans to meet organizational objectives.
  • Conceptual, logical, or physical network designs to meet requirements.
  • Procedures to track and report network availability, reliability, capacity, or utilization.
  • Network security measures, such as firewalls, audits, or automated security probes.
• Estimate time and materials needed for projects.
• Monitor network performance and data input/output reports to detect problems, identify inefficient resource use, or perform capacity planning.
• Participate in network technology upgrade or expansion projects.
• Research and test new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.
• Liaise with vendors to address system issues, gather product information, and discuss future needs.
• Coordinate the installation of new equipment.
• Design, organize, and deliver product awareness, skills transfer, and education sessions for staff and suppliers.
• Explain design specifications to integration and/or test engineers.
• Develop plans or budgets for network equipment replacement.
• Prepare design presentations and proposals for staff or customers.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• 16 years of combined experience and education, equivalent to:
  • Doctorate and 8 years of experience, or
  • Master’s and 10 years of experience, or
  • Bachelor’s and 12 years of experience, or
  • Associate’s and 14 years of experience, or
  • High School diploma and 16 years of experience.
• Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.

Pay

Pay Range: $116,350.00 - $210,325.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other law.
