Thunder Girls Dance Team Member
About the role
Join the Thunder Girls dance team and become part of a dynamic group of outstanding athletes who embody the spirit of the Oklahoma City Thunder! Our members are skilled dance artists, making a positive impact at games and community events.
Responsibilities
- Perform choreographed routines at all home games and help energize crowds at Thunder games or events
- Perform at least once at a home game for the Oklahoma City Blue
- Complete select promotions on court which may include holding signs, assisting with crowd cheers, or helping to support an enthusiastic atmosphere for contest winners, teachers of the game, etc.
- Greet fans pre-game at the Thunder Girls autograph station
- Attend all workouts and practices
- Take part in photo shoots, promotional videos, and team-approved media appearances
- Maintain a positive personal reputation and act as a brand ambassador for the team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Dancing and performing experience with training in dance or cheer required, tumbling a plus
- Ability to pick up dance choreography quickly
- Dedicated and collaborative member of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including listening as well as speaking
- To maintain a positive personal reputation and act as a brand ambassador for the team
Qualifications
- Ability to stay organized and have outstanding time-management
- Bi-lingual skills are a plus but not required

Additional details
- This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Performance Teams Manager
- The work schedule and training require evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the home game schedule and additional scheduled appearances
- You must be at least 18 years of age as of 07/25/2026 with a valid government issued photo I.D.
- Work environment will include loud music and crowd noise as well as flashing or strobe lights
- Physical requirements of the job include dancing in various styles, climbing stairs, bending and twisting as well as walking or standing for long periods of time
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required along with reliable transportation
