Thread Roll Operator

About the role

Read and understand process instructions. Set up and run thread roll machines including Reed, Waterbury, and Hartford, in both automatic and hand-fed configurations.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and manual inspection, using inspection equipment such as microscope, comparator, micrometer, tri-rolls, and various gauges.
• Analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings and industry specifications required.
• Show attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically and use mathematics to meet job requirements.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Show strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Be an effective team member, willing to work and communicate with all levels of the business.
• Show an excellent attendance record, including punctuality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Thread Roll experience preferred, Aerospace fastener Industry experience a plus
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Able to walk and stand 100% of shift.
• Able to work overtime if needed, including weekends if needed.
• Show a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
