Job Summary

The Caterpillar ThinkBIG Scholarship Program is offered by Thompson Tractor in partnership with South Georgia Technical College (SGTC). It provides a paid, two-year education and hands-on training pathway at Thompson Tractor's Dothan branch, followed by a full-time technician career.

Eligibility Requirements

• Age 18+
• High school diploma or equivalent required at the start of the program
• Valid driver’s license & good driving record
• Pass drug screen, physical, and background check
• Meet SGTC and Thompson Tractor admission standards
• Qualifying ACT, SAT, COMPASS, or ACCUPLACER scores

After Graduation

Costs

Thompson Tractor covers the cost of tuition, books, lab fees, and graduation fees for the full two years of the course of study. Room and board, deposits, and personal transportation costs are the responsibility of the participant, but earnings from paid internships should cover these expenses.
