About the role

The CAT Dealer Prep Program is designed to prepare entry-level service technicians for employment at Mustang Cat, one of America's Greatest Midsize Workplaces of 2025. This full-time, two-year program includes both classroom study and required employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the skills needed to be skilled service technicians
• Work in both classroom settings and at a CAT dealership
• Receive on-the-job training from experienced technicians

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum passing score on SAT, ACT, or COMPASS placement test
• Two letters of recommendation from employer, counselor, and/or instructor
• Own tools
• Show strong mechanical aptitude
• Show a positive attitude
• Show a desire to learn
