Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education considered.
  • Experience in the thermal sciences, including heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis.
  • Experience with thermal analysis tools and processes.
  • Experience in Thermal Management Systems (TMS) design and analysis.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Design and evaluate thermal management systems for current and future air‑vehicle platforms.
  • Conduct detailed thermal and structural temperature analyses using simulation tools.
  • Generate and validate temperature profile data to support system integration.
  • Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, and propulsion teams to ensure thermal solutions meet performance goals.
  • Document findings, create technical reports, and contribute to design reviews.

Further Information About This Opportunity

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
  • Desired Skills: Ability to lead a team of engineers in a dynamic, cross-disciplinary business environment. M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Experience with Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Power and Propulsion. Strong experience with common thermal analysis tool sets. Ability to develop tools for analysis automation and optimization. Strong experience in structural thermal analysis (e.g., aero-heating).
