Thermal Analyst Sr. - ACE

This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin’s mission of enabling millions of people to live and work in space for the benefit of Earth. As a member of a dedicated team of engineers, you will play a key role in defining and developing spacecraft thermal control systems. Responsibilities

• Develop system-level thermal analysis models of spacecraft at varying levels of maturity and detail with minimal supervision.
• Anchor thermal predictions to test data.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple teams as both a customer and provider of fluid and thermal data.
• Document work for future reference and refinement.
• Advocate for methods to improve component and analysis performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 8 years of relevant Thermal Engineering/Analysis experience with Thermal Desktop.
• Solid understanding of thermal fundamentals.
• Demonstrated thermal analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint, including model validation and test correlation.

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 10 years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Experience solving a variety of thermal problems, demonstrating breadth in analysis application.

Pay

Base pay ranges:

• CO: $133,500.00 - $186,898.95
• WA: $145,188.00 - $203,263.20

Other site ranges may differ.
