Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to help build or restore independence in daily living skills for persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Ensures privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care and provides clinical supervision to assistants and students.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts occupational therapy programs for rehabilitation.
• Develops and updates patient’s Plan of Care (POC).
• Coordinates patient care with other healthcare providers.
• Maintains accurate documentation and participates in quality improvement processes.
• Ensures a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Certification & Licensure: OT-Occupational Therapist, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
