Therapy Manager

About the role

Join Encompass Health, a leading inpatient rehabilitation provider, as a Therapy Manager. Your role will involve leading the therapy team, providing direct patient care, and fostering a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in managing the therapy team’s daily operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication.
• Provide direct care to patients, focusing on their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients and celebrate their victories along the way.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• A minimum of four years of experience in occupational / physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications
