Therapy Manager

About the Role

As our Therapy Manager, you will be a compassionate advocate, providing support to patients and employees assisting patients. You will manage the financial aspects of the therapy business and be responsible for growth, marketing, and performance improvement. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, strong knowledge of therapy services, and highly organized management.

Responsibilities

• Manages all therapy operations for assigned locations/services, enhancing operational effectiveness with a focus on high-quality care and financial stewardship.
• Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, development, counseling, and performance evaluation of supervisors and staff.
• Leads leadership development for supervisors and ensures clinical development of therapy staff, including orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing education.
• Ensures accurate and compliant documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement.
• Coordinates auditing of medical records and charges to ensure documentation supports reimbursement.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related Physical/Occupational Therapy field (required).
• 1–2 years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Active Texas license as one of the following:
  • Physical Therapist (PT:TX),
  • Occupational Therapist (OT:TX), or
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP:TX).
• American Heart BLS certification required within 14 days of start date.

Where You'll Work

St. Luke's Health - Patients Medical Center provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services to residents of Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, and Clear Lake. The facility includes 53 medical/surgical beds, eight ICU beds, and three endoscopy rooms. Services offered include wound care, general surgery, gastroenterology, occupational health, heart and vascular care, women’s services, diagnostic imaging, outpatient rehabilitation services, and sleep disorders treatment.
