Therapy Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company during product evaluation and commercial cases with site personnel including speech language pathologists, physicians and other medical staff.
• Maintain good professional /personal relationships with staff at sites.
• Provide on-site, real-time guidance during Phagenyx procedures, including contingency planning to address unforeseen occurrences.
• Be familiar with clinical data and publications supporting pharyngeal electrical stimulation.
• Provide education and training on all aspects of the device, device handling, proper administration, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device procedures as well as all aspects of the respective swallowing and other clinical assessments.
• Document relevant procedural case observations for customer feedback.
• Work closely with sales to ensure efficient communication between sites and the company.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Healthcare Environment or Medical Device Industry Product Training
• Clinician experience in hospital or rehab center setting with focus on critical care
• Experience in stroke rehabilitation settings and procedures
• Experience working remotely from management team
