Therapy Coordinator

This position is a full time, non-clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Columbia, TN. Responsibilities Obtain physician referrals for therapy and scheduling the patients at the appropriate facilityAssist in getting verification and authorization for therapy benefits and treatmentsAssist with patient order management and answering the phoneSubmit charges for rehab servicesComplete cross training for the therapy front desk (answering the phone, scheduling patients, assisting in patient care as needed, completing rehab reports, assist with account payments and estimates)Completing patient paperwork and submission for DMEsBe efficient and competent in completing the necessary rehab reportsRespond and address clinical tasking needsDisplay appropriate communication with patients (in person and over the phone) and team members to provide quality customer serviceDisplay knowledge of electronic documentation portal, Microsoft office, and rehab billing guidelines Requirements Experience collecting co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, and balances.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.Professional personal presentation and excellent customer service practices Previous experience and knowledge of insurance. Preferred NextGen Software experience.
