Therapy Aide - PRN

About the role

The Therapy Aide will assist in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Chiropractic care at Sanford Health's clinic in Jamestown, ND. Duties include preparing treatment areas, assisting patients, and performing tasks as directed by licensed therapists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area, patient equipment, and materials
• Absorb and provide encouragement for patients to correctly perform treatments
• Perform other related duties as requested to support the therapy department, such as cleaning, clerical work, assisting with care needs, and transporting patients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• On-the-job training provided
• Physical capability to assist with patient transfers, ADLs, and gait training
• BLS certification required within 6 months of employment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of employment
• Must be physically capable of assisting with patient transfers, activities of daily living, and gait training as directed by a licensed therapist
