Therapy Aide

About the role

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our full-time opening at our Day Neuro Facility in Dallas! Seeking rehabilitation tech for the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Light equipment maintenance
• Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team
• Must have a valid driver's license
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Skills & experience

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred

Pay & schedule

• Salary: $22/hr
• PRN "As Needed"
• Day shift
