About the role
Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our PRN opening at our Inpatient Facility in Fort Worth. We are looking for a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to a wide variety of patients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving rehab hospital setting
- Provide physical assistance with therapy intervention
- Maintain equipment within the department
- Complete other administrative tasks
- Assist providing supervision for patient meals and facilitation of our Safety clubhouse Program
- Assist with providing transportation in company vehicles
Requirements
- Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting
- Demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team
- BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
- A driving record check will be performed
Qualifications
One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience for application to professional degree programs.
